If this isn't one of the cutest things I've seen all holiday season... and it totally reminds me of Izze. Her sentiments exactly!!

As most of you know... I'm a pushover and Izze sneaks in our bed nearly every night between 12-3 am. I really don't care, but it drives Jeremy crazy...

She's doing pretty good with falling asleep in her bed, but she never stays asleep straight through the night. With the exception of the past two nights! Izze's been thinking about staying in her bed. She even told me she would rather stay in there, but mostly she remembers how comfy my bed is when she lays next to me (ok... you can sleep in here forever).

Last night she slept in her own bed and I fell asleep earlier than I usually do. Then this morning she came wandering in my room and Jeremy was still here... I was just about to ask her if she wanted me to take her back to bed and she said, "Dad, you need to get up, your alarm is going off." and sure enough it was. It had been going off for 30 minutes! So I let Izze crawl in my bed and told her I was so proud she slept in her bed all night. She was like, "wait it's not night, but it's dark?!?" Then she told me she wasn't tired anymore. So we hopped up, said bye to Jeremy and had breakfast and hopped in the shower afterwards. It's crazy, because Izze will sleep until 9 most days, and I let her because she wakes up so often at night, I want her to get her sleep. But today we were up and going and totally ready before the time she usually wakes up. It was so weird, but refreshing.

But after...

I was getting her ready for open gym at gymnastics and she said she was cold and wanted to get in my covers. Something she usually does after a bath. And I thought she was goofing around. She was kind of rolling in the covers and giggling. Then she fell quiet. I thought she was seriously goofing off, so I went to finished getting her ready and she was passed the fuck out! I thought she was still faking and I was totally impressed, because she had this kind of smirk on her face. But I pulled her shorts on and she woke up a little and said, "I need to be comfy"

So 10 am nap... she's still asleep and I need to go grocery shopping before I teach dance later. I'm a bit concerned... she is a really good napper only when she is starting to get sick or is already sick. We were hanging out with my sister and her daughter Ella was sick, and the next night Sydney, her oldest had to go to the hospital. So I'm a tad worried she's coming down with what they both had.

I hope not though. Today is my last day of dance until our studio is closed for the holiday. We're having a sleepover/late night/talent show the week after Christmas, but other than that, I'm done!! WOOOO!!!

I can't believe Christmas is one week. What the hell, man?

I did a friends cut.

Sorry if you don't understand.

I need simplicity in my life.

So I took all the stuff back for Jeremy's sister's family. Except some personalized ornaments.

I feel a pretty big weight lifted over my chest.

A few days ago, Izze wanted to pick out her own clothes and she said she wanted a Muno shirt, I told her we don't have a Muno shirt anymore, because she outgrew it. She was pretty upset, "Why didn't you get a new one??" Then she wanted to know if she had ANY Yo Gabba Gabba shirts, I told her she has a Brobee one, a Toodee one and a Plex hoodie. She wasn't happy enough. We don't have Muno and Muno is her favorite... and she doesn't even have Foofa and Foofa is her favorite color. Talk about a spoiled kid, right?!? We already ordered a custom Muno shirt, and matching bow from Etsy for Christmas. I started looking on eBay, hoping the YGG craze has maybe settled. Nope. It's still strong. Used shirts for $15-$20 and new ones starting at $20-$25. WTF?!? The same ones we bought at Wal-Mart for a few bucks, I honestly think we paid a dollar for a few of her YGG shirts. I did buy her Toodee one on eBay, because it was like $10 and it was short sleeved and we like short sleeved shirts, blah blah blah. But I can't honestly pay that much for a used Wal-Mart shirt!

We were shopping the next day at Journeys Kidz and they had some cute Gabba stuff, so I bought her a shirt with Brobee, Muno and Plex on it and the next day YoGabbaGabba posted on Twitter that Sears had some boys shirts half price and they were darling. In fact, they were the ones starting out at like $25. One was Muno, that said "Don't Bite Your Friends" for $7 can't beat that really. Geez. I seriously thought she was starting to get over Gabba, but she's not, she told me she'll always love Yo Gabba Gabba. She even told Jeremy's mom she wanted that interactive Foofa that's like $20. I had no idea.

But I'm not done with my ebay searching just yet. Izze got a View Master for her birthday and she wants more reels to go inside. When was the last time you looked for View Master reels? I guess Toys R Us has them. I just hope they're not outrageous. They'll make perfect stocking stuffers.
